New Wind's kiteschool in La Ventana is one of the oldest and most reputable in the area and maintains one of the best launch sites on the beach. The Ideal Place for Kiteboarding Lessons.

Still learning to stay upwind? No problem! Ventana Bay curves around to form a "catcher's mitt" of beautiful white sand beach. If you launch from New Wind and end up downwind, we'll come pick you up on our 4- wheeler. Guided five-mile downwinders are also available for those interested in a more advanced adventure, and for those who really want to maximize their coaching time.

Our La Ventana kiteschool is open roughly from November to April each year. Make your reservations as soon as possible, as our schedules do fill up well-in-advance. To reserve a space, simply contact us by phone or email.
