A Perfect Place for Learning:

Still learning to stay upwind? No problem! Ventana Bay curves around to form a friendly "catcher's mitt" of beautiful white sand beach. We launch you right in front of the New Wind Kitehouse and come pick you up downwind on our 4- wheeler.

Our La Ventana operation is open from November 15th to March 15th. Make your reservations soon as we do book up well ahead of time. Just e-mail us to reserve your space on the 2007/2008 winter schedule.

Guided downwinders are also available for those interested in a more advanced adventure and who really want to maximize their coaching time.

Travel and Area Information:

Traveling to Baja is easy compared to most tropical destinations with direct flights daily from the US. Check out this map of Baja Sur to see the lay of the land.

The town of La Ventana is safe and friendly with the charm of a quiet fishing village.
